I think it's critical that MistForums moves to a nameserver system.
Most people find it too confusing to setup mutiple DNS records and some hosts don't even allow DNS edits.
Setting your domain nameservers to ns1.MistForums.com and ns2.MistForums.com would be much more efficient (and safer) way to allow people to host their sites with MistForums.
I just did a cname point to server1.mistforums.com
called forums and it works forums.hawkrp.com

Are you with GoDaddy per chance?
I agree with ray. Due to many people finding it alot harder than it should be to setup dns records, there should also be no need for you to have to change hosts all because it doesnt work.
